Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actor from Romania and Germany. Her best-known films include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The only child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her professional career in the show business from a young age. By the time she turned 16, Alexandra had landed the leading roles in numerous television dramas. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was both critically and commercially acclaimed. The other Oscar nominated movies featuring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra worked on several notable national and international projects through the years. One of these is the British biographical film Control, Greek drama movie The Dust of Time, and the French historic miniseries Napoleon. Other roles she has held include being an official jury member for each of the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
